OK. Wow. I took 20 minutes figuring out how to add a new post and just realized all I had to do was type…
ANYWAYS.
T^T
I’m going to attempt to explain why the blog title. The Blitle if you will.
The first reason why I chose Soul Soup for Two is because I love soup. That’s genuinely it.
I think soup is just such a versatile food and you can make so much with it. It’s perfect for when you’re sick, when you’re cold and when you need some emotional support.
AND
You really can’t mess it up too much. It’s simple and effective and it warms your soul C:
Hence: Soul Soup
“For Two” Comes from the reason I’ve created this blog. It’s an intimate and meaningful way for me to express myself, just like when two people interact. There’s no one else you’re trying to impress.
Just one.
One person, one world.
And sometimes that makes all the difference.
There’s the saying that: It’s okay if you only save one person, because for that person you’ve saved their whole world.
And I think that it is so true, not just for, martyr-people-saving-batman figures, but for everyday folk too.
The next time you’re talking to someone one on one, marvel how you’re witnessing an entire universe, no matter if they are different from you, share different beliefs or you disagree with them vehemently.
So: Soul Soup for Two = sharing a comforting and genuine moment that inspires connection C:
(Notice how I’m doing my emoticons with the letter C to combat the atrocity that is turning emoticons into emojis?)
So yeah!
And also there’s a book called Chicken Soup for the Soul by the company Chicken Soup for the Soul that strives to share stories of just everyday people like you and me, and I think that is beautiful. So the Blitle is an homage to that c:
Thyme xx
